In 2003 Barbara and Art moved from Kentucky to Umbria. These are their adventures. In 2010 Barbara and Art moved back to Kentucky, ready for their next adventure. In 2015 Barbara and Art gave up the snow and cold of Kentucky for the sunshine and warmth of Florida.
Despite the heatwave that last through most of May there were still a few poppies in bloom when we arrived.........

I've just posted a few photos of poppies on OUR FLICKR PAGE. The cool weather and lack of sun has kept them in bloom longer and kept the colors intense. This field of poppies is actually a field of wheat (hay?) that's been taken over by the flowers!
