SAD SUNFLOWERS
While there's nothing more cheerful than a field of sunflowers in bloom, nothing is sadder than a field of dead sunflowers!
Labels: Italy, Sunflowers, Umbria
In 2003 Barbara and Art moved from Kentucky to Umbria. These are their adventures. In 2010 Barbara and Art moved back to Kentucky, ready for their next adventure. In 2015 Barbara and Art gave up the snow and cold of Kentucky for the sunshine and warmth of Florida.

They ARE sad!!!! Ahh, the changing of the seasons . . .
Jerry, how come you're just a number????
Barb -do u think those seeds would grow here in the states
Glenda, I don't see why not!
Could you send me some, I would be happy to pay for all shipping charges
Glenda, unfortunately US Customs won't allow seed to be brought (or mailed) to the US from foreign countries! MY sister had her sunflower seeds confiscated at the ariport!
I agree. I was kinda sad to see this. But to appreciate how wonderful they are when they are in bloom, I guess it is good for us to see it this way. Like life, huh?
