MORE OLIVES, MORE OIL

We'll be helping friends harvest their olives this weekend - and I can't tell you how happy we are with the wonderful weather we're having! Picking olives in a coat and gloves isn't near as much fun as being able to do it on a beautiful, sunny day with mild temperatures!

The olives seem to be hit and miss this year - friends near San Venanzo had every tree filled with olives, and others have had practically NO olives at all. I'm hoping this weekend will yield lots of olives - meaning lots of new oil!
